These ratings are weekly market-implied WTA player states. Global parameters are learned and then frozen each off-season, while new prices update player states online. Estimated player states account for ~85% of the signal markets capture, while allowing for the simulation of any matchup on any surface and the tracing of player strength over time.

Latest leaderboard
The leaderboard shows the top 500 players with at least one observed match in the prior year. “Win vs avg” is the model’s draw-neutral, one-match probability against the mean active-tour player on the selected surface. Rating intervals are 50% posterior intervals and include uncertainty in the overall state, surface contrast, and their covariance. Click a leaderboard row to add or remove that player from the chart.
